I'd bet money on Royal Blood especially seeing how they just announced tour dates - June 4 in Columbus with the next date being June 10 in Washington DC. That's a pretty wide gap between dates.

On the Columbus/Cincinnati connection, I don't know how concerned they are IF Tuesday's clue is in fact The Kooks, which I really think it is. The Kooks are playing Columbus on May 3rd through Promowest, so they might cross pollinate a bit.

Would LOVE to see Temples play Bunbury ... They could do June 5 or June 7.
June 4 - Detroit @ Saint Andrew's Hall June 6 - Cleveland Heights @ Grog Shop June 8 - Brooklyn @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

When Halsey announced her tour with Young Rising Sons there was no Ohio date and someone complained about it. She replied telling them she would be playing at a festival in Ohio this summer. Many people suspected Bunbury to be that fest seeing as it's pretty much the only indie music festival in Ohio. With that being said it has now been announced that she is touring with Imagine Dragons. I don't know if that means she was booked for Bunbury and no longer will be or what but I felt this was information to share as everyone diccused ID as a possibility until the tour dates came out.

Nelsonville Festival could be a good fit for Halsey. It's the weekend before Bunbury which is also the weekend before the Imagine Dragons tour starts.
They release their schedule a little bit at a time leading up to the show, so they haven't announced even half their lineup yet.

Cross Spoon off the list. They just announced a 6/13 show at The Madison in Covington.

Spoon is playing Newport Music Hall in Columbus 6/12 so I'd say they are def playing Bunbury!

Mates of State are touring in June/July. I could see them somewhere midway down the bill.

Toronto's Field Trip 2015 announced their lineup and it happens June 6 and June 7th. The distance isn't far enough that it would prohibit bands playing both places, but it's just something else to reference when trying to figure out who's coming.
Alabama Shakes My Morning Jacket The War On Drugs Arkells Marina & The Diamonds Father John Misty Purity Ring De La Soul Rhye Dan Mangan + Blacksmith Lee Fields & The Expressions Kevin Drew & Andy Kim Hayden Sharon & Bram Jacques Greene Temples Young Empires Apostle Of Hustle Plays Folkloric Feel From Jamaica To Toronto Calvin Love Absolutely Free Keita Juma & Brendan Philip
I notice The War on Drugs are playing both this festival and the Governor's Ball that weekend. Also My Morning Jacket is playing both.

I just got my invite to the Bunbury press party on 2/25. Apparently the public announcement will be on 2/26.

I think the clues have increased their facebook and even this message board's activity 100 fold. Really smart of them to do this no matter how much we complain.

So with Promowest running the show, and some of our guesses leading us to bands already playing with Promowest in Columbus or Pittsburgh, I'm wondering if they're leveraging those relationships for their festival. Below are the bands currently playing a promowest show, which maybe we can eliminate some that we know it's not. I'm sure I missed a few and I don't have most openers.
Bush Civil Twilight Kongos Catfish and the Bottlemen Rusted Root The Wailers Misterwives The Lone Bellow Sleater-Kinney Magic Man Cold War Kids Bleachers Big Data Meg Myers Walk the Moon The Airborne Toxic Event Jungle The Mowgli's Blitzen Trapper Guster Matt & Kim SomeKindaWonderful The Kooks The Wombats Houndmouth Kodaline The Decemberists Royal Blood Mini Mansions Belle and Sebastian Son Lux Shakey Graves
Hozier Barenaked Ladies Violent Femmes Colin Hay Spoon Interpol The Replacements Milky Chance Robert Delong OK Go The Gaslight Anthem George Ezra Circa Survive Sylvan Esso Marina and the Diamonds

I would eliminate Hozier because he's playing in Germany on June 5th. It just doesn't seem likely. I would eliminate Barenaked Laides, Violent Femmes, and Colin Hay because they just scheduled a show in Cincinnati in June. I would eliminate OK Go because I don't see them going with the Midpoint headliner from 2014. I would eliminate Spoon because they are playing the Madison right after Bunbury

I can't imagine Robert Delong for a third time.

Sylvan Esso is playing in London on June 6th, so take them off the list.

Most of the bands have nothing posted after May. But those who do: Possibles: Rusted Root - Has the 5th and 7th open and in NY on the 6th The Wailers - Open all weekend in NJ on the 2nd The Lone Bellow - Open Cold War Kids - Open Guster - Open - play Bonnaroo Houndmouth - Open - play Bonnaroo Marina and the Diamonds - Their website says June 5th for Governor's Ball, not sure if they are just marking the first day for the weekend? Decemberists - Governors Ball, still possibility depending on day Royal Blood - Open in Columbus on the 4th Mini Mansions - Open Belle and Sebastian - Open June 9th in PA Son Lux - Open
Less Possible Sylvan Esso - UK on the 7th Circa Survive - Germany June 5th George Ezra - France on the 10th Gaslight Anthem - UK on the 7th Milky Chance - Across seas on the 6th The Replacements - not in US Interpol - IN Germany

Okay, now you can officially take Hozier off the list. Hozier just announced a concert in Cincinnati on June 14th at the Horseshoe Casino.

Added Shakey Graves to the Promowest list since they're playing Side B of CD102 day with Jungle, Robert Delong and Airborne Toxic Event.
I'd say out of 9 clues so far, we're fairly confident that at least 4 are playing another promowest show in The Kooks, Mini Mansions, Catfish and the Bottlemen and now Shakey Graves.
We also have The Mowgli's and Jungle as a guess for the time clue, so I'm guessing they pull a few more from this list.

Still wondering if this holds any truth... I know someone posted this earlier in this thread. I honestly think that's fake...I don't see a manager saying anything other than "She's booked". Why risk a promoter blabbing that she's going to be in the US?

The Kooks announced their tour today. They have nothing scheduled from May 10 to June 9. May 10, they'll be in Boston and June 9 in San Diego. They'll also be in Columbus on May 3. I think they are touring with Young Rising Sons and Joywave. I believe Atlas Genius will be at some of their shows. I think those three bands would be a good get for the festival.

I get it, Catfish is much more the style of Bunbury... But I love me some Reel Big Fish!

Looking at last years schedule, with just four stages this year, what can we expect? about 20 bands a day?
