The Decemberists...new album coming out in January. Worldwide tour starting Feb 11th, returning to the US on March 11th with their last announced stop on April 13th in Nashville. More dates to come. Bunbury headliner?

Sounds like there will be a "special Announcement" on Monday. They posted this in both Bunbury and Buckle Up. Hopefully some sort of announcement to try to catch some attention. Delta Spirit just released an album and did some fall tour dates. No release yet on summer shows, but I think they would be a great band for Bunbury.

Foo Fighters are on the east coast and are open the entire festival? Too big?

Foo Fighters are on the east coast and are open the entire festival? Too big? Too big and not the right sound for this festival. Fallout boy was already a stretch for this festival. Now The Killers...

Foo Fighters are on the east coast and are open the entire festival? Too big? FF would be a horrible match for Bunbury. Corporate rock at its worst.

Looks like Lorde might be doing festivals in June. My guess is Governor's Ball gets her instead, but it's fun to speculate.

Lana Del Rey has Bunbury weekend open in between Canada and Virginia dates It's pretty much me and you on here and Reddit Hah! Pretty much. I'm trying to follow Bonnaroo rumors pretty closely, so now that Bunbury is the weekend prior there is a lot of overlap. I just hope we can share acts with Governor's Ball, otherwise I think Bunbury's just going to get their leftovers.

I'm hoping not, since I've never been a fan, but what about No Doubt? Seems they have announced two festivals already?

I was expecting to see Lorde and Modest Mouse on the Governor's Ball lineup, maybe they make it to Bunbury?

I was expecting to see Lorde and Modest Mouse on the Governor's Ball lineup, maybe they make it to Bunbury? That would be awesome! I also don't think a band being in the governors ball necessarily eliminates them from bunbury. They could do a Friday or Sunday at either festival.

I wasn't blown away by the G-Ball lineup. Florence and Noel Gallagher are the only bigger names I would like to see at Bunbury. Nice undercard though.

Lorde or Modest Mouse would be awesome. Both would be great also haha. Sounds like they are going to do some hints in the upcoming weeks.

There was also some rumor talk about Lorde at Bonnaroo which would put her in the area right around Bunbury. Seems like there's always a handful of Bonnaroo artists that play Cincinnati around Bonnaroo.

Hopefully after Tuesday's Bonnaroo announcement. There will also be some artist tour announcements soon after and might be able to find some Bunbury Festival gaps in tours

Hopefully after Tuesday's Bonnaroo announcement. There will also be some artist tour announcements soon after and might be able to find some Bunbury Festival gaps in tours Since Bonnaroo is the weekend after Bunbury, I cant decide if the bands scheduled for Bonnaroo are 1. More likely to come to Bunbury because we are in the same region and only a week apart, 2. less likely to come because they already have a festival scheduled nearby, or 3. Completely a non-impact since they are a week apart and bands can travel across country in that amount of time. My only conclusion is that if a band is scheduled for Bonnaroo, that means they are a "festival" band and willing to play festivals.

I hear from a very trusted source that Soundgarden is going to headline..... I kid, I kid..... Just a little call back to last year's fun. I haven't been here in months, just thought I'd check in and was impressed to see the little Reverend Horton Heat bit of news. I just went and saw him at the Southgate House a few months ago. He puts on a fun show. I wish we'd start getting a rumor or two from somewhere damnit. It's too hard to keep watching other festivals get announced. The Shaky Knees Festival has got me especially jealous. If I wasn't going to New Orleans the week before, I'd be seriously considering a trip to Atlanta.

I would love it if Lorde and Modest Mouse were two of the headliners!! I was super bummed neither of them are going to be at Bonnaroo. I'm also hoping there isn't too much overlap between Roo and Bunbury, but it wouldn't stop me from going to both.

Ugh, I really hope Bunbury doesn't turn into Bonnaroo lite and just books Roo acts that are in the area anyways. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Glass Animals twice!
