Just thought it might be nice to have a thread dedicated to other Festival Lineups as they come out. For one, it will give us an idea of who is touring the festival circuits this year and give an idea of other acts who could be playing bunbury. Or if I'm the only one interested in it, then I will just use it for myself. lol We can still keep the main discussion in the other thread. High Water in South Carolina on April 13 and 14th announced their lineup today. It's a nice little festival with mostly Folk type bands curated and headlined by Shovels and Rope.

Shaky Knees in Atlanta. As somebody said in the other thread, we often share a headliner with them as well as some other acts.

Didn’t see this thread when I posted in the headliner thread but I think there’ll be some crossover here

Anyone see that Woodstock is running a 50th Anniversary event at Watkins Glenn late this summer?

Anyone see that Woodstock is running a 50th Anniversary event at Watkins Glenn late this summer? Yes, there are actually two Woodstock Anniversary events happening this year The official one at Watkins Glen and and another one by an independent producer called "Journey On" at the original Woodstock site. The Festive Owl has some leaked pictures of the presentation made to potential investors and sponsors last year, I've Linked it below. Should be interesting to see how the two compare. link

Definitely did not appreciate being there at the time as much as I do now. I'd love to go to Watkins Glen, but it's probably not happening.

I did not, but I saw the NIN mud show, and I was there when Primus made the mistake of playing "My Name is Mud."

goo.gl/images/j9jtZFI was strongly considering doing Laurelive instead of Bunbury this year, but the lineup is meh. Hozier and Cheryl Crow headlining will not draw me in.

That's so close distance-wise to share acts during the same weekend. I'd think radius clauses would exclude any bands on this lineup.

They are also expected to tour this year.

Bush and Live are coming to Dayton in September. It's their only Ohio stop.
They are playing Stage AE {a promowest venue in Pittsburgh, I believe}
Could be a festival or 2 in their future

Bourbon and Beyond just unloaded a pretty awesome lineup for this year. They've really stepped it up. They definitely did a good job of drawing in the older crowd that might not enjoy the Forecastle Lineup as much.

That's a super interesting lineup. Good on ZZ Top for kicking it 50 years. How does Louisville have 3 rock festivals (Bourbon & Beyond, Forecastle, and Louder than Life) plus another country festival? dannywimmerpresents.com/company/festivals/That has to put them high in the rankings for fests per capita. edit: corrected 3 festivals listed

Forecastle: Alternative Music primarily, Bourbon and Beyond: Classic Rock/Rock and Louder than Life: Rock/Modern Rock/Metal

Honestly, I dig this lineup! Obviously its catered toward a different generation and different genre, but damn, it certainly delivers big time for that targeted demographic. Really, really solid all the way through with lots of rock icons and some good newer bands sprinkled in as well. I am impressed.

If I didn't already have plans for other festivals I would probably have gone to this. It's a nice mix of everything. It's obviously nothing compared to the other Woodstocks' but I think it's probably a good depiction of what is popular right now. Much like all of the other Woodstock lineup's were for their times.
