The Sonic Temple hint decoded to "Can you hear the silence" which is a lyric from the song Can you Feel My Heart by Bring Me The Horizon. They were a second line act at Epicenter last year so it makes sense. yeah. they were at Sonic temple co-headlining on Sunday last year but got rained out. Seemingly to make up for not playing last year. Will probably open up for Saturdays headliner. Can't see BMTH opening for Metallica. Just two different fanbases in my opinion. I get that. I'm a Metallica guy and they just don't do it for me. I've never listened to them but listened to a few songs on Spotify today. It's like they don't know whether they want to go pure rock or more of a Panic at the Disco direction but they don't really commit to either sound and it just doesn't work for my tastes.

Yeah a lot of fans are torn on their new sound. Go back 3 albums they sound so much different. Lead singer kinda lost his voice from what I know. I like a few of their new releases but overall it's meh. Their album "That's the spirit" is good and "Sempiternal" is really good and pretty heavy. I saw them as a support act in 2016 and they put on a fantastic show. Hope they can do the same this year

I saw them as a support act in 2016 and they put on a fantastic show. Hope they can do the same this year I actually love BMTH but yes, I 100% agree that they have a different fan base than Metallica. The lead singer Ollie, used to be HEAVILY addicted to ketamine and deeply depressed which he said is where a lot of their earlier sounds came from. As he got through rehab he wanted to start experimenting with different sounds and musical vibes. In a lot of interviews recently, he's directly said that a lot of what he does with their music is to try to piss people off. They made some of their newer songs lighter because that what he wanted to try out and knew it would piss off a lot of people. Also, he has ruptured his vocal chords a few times and has been having a lot of health issues related to that recently. Regardless, he's a pretty interesting mind to listen to during interviews! But getting back to Sonic Temple, I've never been since usually there isn't one band that would really draw me there to spend $150 for the weekend. I did want to go last year when they were giving out those $5 tickets but wasn't able to snag them. I love hard rock music, but usually can't stand the people at those shows. If I do go, you will catch me up in the stands just hanging out. Not looking to get punched in the face by a bunch of guys named Kyle wearing Ed Hardy cut off shirts drinking monster energy drinks down by the barricade

Shaky Knees just dropped one hell of a strong lineup:
The Black Keys The Smashing Pumpkins The Strokes Yeah Yeah Yeahs Portugal. the Man Joan Jett Of Monsters and Men Liam Gallagher Angels & Airwaves Brittany Howard Royal Blood and more...
I am VERY impressed with this lineup. Hopefully Bunbury books some of these!!!

We always talk about going to a new festival each year depending on lineups. I think this one is in heavy contention based on this lineup. Also means Strokes could be in play for Bunbury!

Looking back at last year I only see one shared act with Bunbury and it was Dashboard Confessional, the tenth band listed on the lineup. I'm not saying it can't happen, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high.

Jesus I hope it's not the Smashing Pumpkins. I do like a few of their songs, but not enough to ever want to see a full show. Plus, didn't their last tour absolutely bomb? I remember seeing almost 2/3 of the floor ticket in Columbus available the day of the show.

I remember seeing almost 2/3 of the floor ticket in Columbus available the day of the show. The Indy show was packed and floor seats were going for $200 a piece. I don't have first hand knowledge of any other shows but I can tell you they killed it in Indy.

Joan Jett, AVA, Royal Blood, The darkness, White reaper, Black pistol fire, All them witches, Bones Uk, Amigo the Devil, Dinosaur Pileup, and of course the rest of the first 3 lines! This lineup is pretty crazy. White reaper and Dinosaur pileup are hitting the scene big time. Surprised they're not further up on the lineup tbh. I really wish this is the type of lineup that bunbury would go for.

Makes me think they viewed Wonderbus as such a success they decided to rebrand their Cleveland festival to fit the theme and feel that they had down there. That is VERY promising for Wonderbus down here and hopefully WonderStruck

Honestly, LaureLive and Wonderbus shared some performers so it's probably not going to be that huge of a shift.

Seems like a very good sign for 2020 and beyond. I do wonder if this was because their partnership with Laurel school ended. They're moving to a new venue and it looks like Laurel is no longer involved.

If I'm not mistaken.... They had to find a new venue. So a babe change was slightly required as I think the festival was originally named, based on the other venue.

An image came out noting RATM would be in Lousville Sep either 18 or 19 (hard to read). That would seemingly confirm they're the other headliner for Louder Than Life

Beginning in 2020, Governors Ball is requiring attendees to either be 18 years or older, or if they are not 18, attending with an adult over 21. This comes after several problems with unruly crowds during weather delays last year and is a great policy. I fully support it.

Looks like a leak here from Beale Street Music Fest. Most years we share some acts, other than last year. Could see us maybe getting Lil Wayne as a rap headliner and I'd like to see Portugal The Man as well. Leon Bridges I could see as a good booking. I'd really like Brittany Howard but that seems like a forecastle booking to me

Festiveowl says it’s fake. Kind of weird for IHeartRadio to be distributing it, then. The guy who “leaked”it apparently has since admitted faking it. It fooled several seemingly legit music pages. I wish it were true. I already have Sonic Temple tickets so I’m pulling for a Columbus date, but Louder than Life would be the next best thing.

Some good stuff on there. A little surprised they won't have the full lineup done until February considering its in early May and I assume based on past festivals they will have higher tiered headliners than that.

Sonic Temple threw another clue up yesterday. With the lineup announcement coming on Monday I'm guessing there may be more to come.
This clue translated to "Save me from the Dark"
Seems like a pretty straight forward clue for Evanescence
Clue came out around 10:00 yesterday so I'll be keeping an eye out around 10:00 today.

Them opening up for Metallica would be cool.
