Is it just me, or does Weezer seem very out of place here? And we all know Blink will likely cancel

Limp Bizkit is like my favorite band so it was a no brainer lol. Seeing Steel Panther, Puddle of Mudd, Hollywood Undead, and others on there...oh man. BTW, I did not know Cold was still a band. I used to LOVE them.

If you’re into electronic, the Snake Pit at the Indy 500 pulled a stacked lineup. They got Martin Garrix, Rezz, Galantis, Yellow Claw, and Steve Aoki. Right now it’s only 65 dollars

Hangout has sold out all GA passes and only has a handful of VIP passes left. The festival has never sold out before. Apparently this lineup was REALLY well received. It wasn't long ago people were talking about the end being near for Hangout. AEG did buy promoWest, so we could see something similar.

John Frusciante is what moved the last quarter of the sales, big bet.

All I wanted for Christmas is RHCP at Bunbury, MoPop, or Shaky Knees (the three fests I’ll be going to). Big sigh.

Worth mentioning that Governors Ball has been dropping hints for the past few weeks. However, these are REALLY tough, to the point that the subreddit is having trouble coming up with anything for several of them. From their best guesses, it looks like they could be getting Da Baby, St. Vincent, Snail Mail, Hobo Johnson, and Vampire Weekend.
However, after looking at the clues, they're truly terrible. So difficult and ambiguous its really impossible to guess. I sure hope Bunbury's are better than this.

Bottlerock is releasing its lineup on Monday. Bonnaroo is officially dropping on Tuesday. Governors Ball is also expected next week. That pretty much means Coachella's is coming today or tomorrow, since they always go first.

Coachella dropped a few minutes ago. I’m a huge fan of this lineup. Let’s hope goldenvoice helped out bunbury in this one.

That would make sense. Something tells me they were probably in that Calvin Harris spot, and he was a last minute addition.

Something tells me they were probably in that Calvin Harris spot, and he was a last minute addition. Makes a lot of sense. I was wondering why he was billed in that odd spot. I was speculating with a friend that I think they are probably billed as a headliner at other festivals and wanted that type of billing here and GoldenVoice had other ideas. They are heavily rumored for Bonnaroo, I wonder if they'll be the 4th or 5th headliner for them (so top line but kind of a 1a/b on a given night type scenario like they've done the past few years with some acts).

From what I've read, MCR was under the impression they'd share a top line with the headliner above everyone else, and apparently they did cost 1.5 mil to book for Coachella, which sounds like a headliner amount to me. If Roo structures their lineup poster like they did last year, I could see MCR being #2 on a day behind one of the three main headliners. Tool, Tame Impala, and Lizzo are expected to be the top 3. MCR and Vampire Weekend are rumored as subs. That being said, I expect there to be more rap than that in the top 5, especially based on last year. I can't see Lizzo being the only hip hop in the top 5.

Coachella pays even more than most. I believe that MCR was getting that much.

I would absolutely go to that festival if it wasn't across the country. Govs Ball should be today too. That'll give us a really good idea of who is available for Bunbury.

when is that gov ball lineup coming? I thought it was today? I thought so too? They always do it before Bonnaroo (tomorrow) so I think the suspicion is that it would be today. Interesting if they don't do it today. Bottlerock is on the other coast so shouldn't effect sales or anything for Gov's Ball either.

Bottlerock's lineup is pretty fantastic. I'm very impressed. Great headliners, deep undercard, and a lot of strong female acts u and down the lineup as well. This is encouraging as far as who is doing festivals.
