yikes widespread panic headlines like every other year. so does mmj Its been 4 years since they've played Forecastle. Jacket has been on a touring hiatus since the end of 2017. MMJ playing any night will guarantee a sell out.

MMJ might not be the clues but they will be playing Forecastle, they're touring after a 2 year hiatus, they are putting a new album out and its the 10 year anniversary of being at the waterfront.

Calling it right now, Tame Impala is headlining Saturday at Forecastle. They have a day off before St. Louis on Sunday. They haven’t been to Louisville in over 6 years.

Not saying it won’t happen, but typically Forecastle doesn’t share a Bonnaroo headliner on the same year. For example, LCD Soundsystem headlined both, but was at Bonnaroo in 2016 and at Forecastle in 2017.

I'm expecting:
The Strokes-Lana Del Country act that's probably not a headliner out side of Kentucky-Cage the Elephant Walk the Moon-The Revivalists-Grouplove-Someone Folky-Some indie lady with a large following
Something like that

New Clue: Violin, Spaceship, No Sound icon, Big Ben/British Parliament building Seeing some speculation it’s Manchester Orchestra (violín, alíen, silence, Manchester hall). Could be correct.

That makes perfect sense actually. I was thinking of Big Ben and Parliament, but that actually looks exactly like Manchester Hall.

Based on other festivals the same weekend overseas it looks like we can rule OUT the following acts:
Billie Eilish, Griz, HAIM, Pearl Jam, Rezz, The Struts, Kahlid, Vampire Weekend, Rufus Du Sol (all at Lolla Paris). Foals, ASAP Rocky (Super Bock Super Rock festival in Portugal) The Lumineers, The Hives (Benicassim Festival, Spain) Charlie XCX, The Chemical Brothers, Local Natives (Latitude Festival UK) The Strokes (Colours of Ostrava in Czech July 15-18th so when they play would make or break their availability)
Obviously there could always be planes involved but it's unlikely someone would try and fly across the globe in the same weekend for a show unless it was a DJ.

Of course, I said that about Modest Mouse in 2018.

Would really, really love Bleachers, Nathaniel Rateliff, the Revivlaists, St Motel, Of Monsters and Men, Head and the Heart, Awolnation, Andrew Mcmahon, Alice Merton to name a few. i feel like all of these fit Forecastle.

Was told one headliner is pop-country and not Kasey Musgraves. Just connecting the dots to the Dixie Chicks. Would be happy if it’s not them, but they are at least tolerable for that genre.

Of Monsters and Men are at Homecoming, and while possible I don’t think it’s likely. The Head and the Heart just announced a show in May here in Louisville so can count them out.

Saw someone on Facebook guess Belle and Sebastian as the first clue and I’m sold on that bc the clues today pointed to a band name and song titles. They have songs titled This Letter and Sleep the Clock Around.

Let’s just say someone that would know what their tour plans are. The plan is to not play festivals but instead focus on a tour later in the year. Now, could those plans change? Yes. But as of now that is what I was told.

I hope we get a new clue today. I know if they've only done 5 or so in the past then it's likely they would wait until tomorrow and then Friday and maybe one next week but for the fun of it I hope it's one today.
Looking at all the other stuff, to me, it feels like the clues are Belle and Sebastian and Manchester Orchestra so far.

Pretty sure the post about the lineup drop is a clue. Could it be Andrew WK? Know next to nothing about him. Ha
