I was there. Heard from a source that up until the day of only 6k tickets were sold but that they were expecting a large walk up crowd. Not sure how many there ended up being but it was WAY more crowded than I was expecting. Yeah, I looked on Twitter and was blown away. And apparently this was taken before it was "busy" WHOA. That is way more than 6k.

That is way more than 6k. i was there. either tickets were given away like crazy or tickets became really cheap when you bought them at the venue. i also read that the first lawn people who showed up got upgraded to pavilion seating.

Mcnasty seems to be responding to a Blink at Riverbend post with a Bourbon and Beyond festival tweet. Weird

Sweet! I'm super excited for this show! Does anyone know about how Blink is laid out? Are there installations and events all over the city? I'd love to check it out.

They have an app with a lot of info. But over 80 bands playing from Thursday to Sunday, 6 stages across downtown and Covington. I’ll be checking out Grouplove, Multimagic, This Pine Box, Moonbeau, Joseph, and others. Can’t wait!

Think we'll send some time downtown and then uber over to Covington. I'm super excited for this show, first saw Grouplove 3 years ago in Columbus and they were insanely good. I say this every year, but they need to be on the Bunbury lineup

First time I saw Grouplove last night, they were incredible. Apparently a new album is coming out soon, would love to have them back at Bunbury.

Second time I've seen them, and i'd forgotten just how incredible they really are live. This would be a very, very smart booking for Bunbury. And this may mean nothing, or it may mean something, but at the end of the set last night, Christian said Thank you Cinci, we love you. We'll see you next year!!!" Could just be like a "see you next time", but the wording makes me curious if they're going to have a tour that will stop in Cinci, or perhaps (hopefully) they've booked been booked for Bunbury already.

Yeah, we got there after he started playing too. It was entertaining but didn't seem to be his crowd lol. I feel like he'd be in his element in the Party Cove at Forecastle. But idk if they ever book anyone that well known for that stage.

Quick..help me.
Hobo Johnson is coming to Bogarts. My wife is trying to convince me to go. I listened to him, I don't mind it, but I'm getting a 21 Pilots meets Front Bottoms vibe and I'm worried he's gonna have a ravenous fan group that is going to make it miserable to be at the show.
Anyone know?

Anyone know? Saw him at bonnaroo, it's weird and he has a weird fanbase. Not the worst show I've ever seen but it was still super odd.

Anyone checking out Gryffin and The Knocks tonight at Bogarts?
Got tickets for Saturday in Columbus and was curious on what people think.

i'm trying to get floor seats for foo fighters on may 14 at us bank, but they are sold out on ticketmaster. would stubhub be the way to go? It's the safest way to go. You know the tickets are real and in the off chance that something is wrong you won't have any trouble getting repaid for them. I usually keep an eye on Craigslist, but you really have to be careful. I wouldn't just recommend that to anyone. I will go through all sorts of verifications to make sure who I'm talking to and to make sure the tickets are in hand and so forth. And if you can get them to use Paypal's business transaction you can protest the transaction if something goes wrong. I've found that if people are legit they will have no problem doing whatever you ask to verify if they think you are serious about buying. They know there are scammers as much as anybody else does. If they do happen to be scammers they will usually just go away and find somebody else to try and scam. Either way, don't buy them now. Watch every day. I almost always find a good deal, even on Stubhub. People buy tickets in advance and end up not being able to go. Not everybody is looking to rake you over the coals. You just have to see the tickets before somebody else does. Tickets aren't likely to go any higher than they are now. If anything they may lower if it gets closer to the show and nobody is buying them.

Fitz and the Tantrums are playing at Riverfront Live July 13. Excited to see concerts coming back. It'll be interesting to see if this is pod "seating" like they had this summer, or if they'll be able to hold non-distanced GA at that point (maybe still with masks). The distancing at that venue made it look like all the groups were in little cages.
