Received an email from the National (Cherry Tree) this afternoon about resetting accounts due to a back end change. Buried at the bottom of the email was something that made me happy. Homecoming is scheduled to return this fall. Said they will be sending more details in the future.

Wonderstruck lineup drops at Noon today. They did release a sneak preview of five artists on Spotify. Coin, Jimmie Allen, Tai Verde, Rosa Lin, and Flo Rida. To say that group is all over the place is an understatement lol.

I can understand diversifying the genres a bit, but booking only one alternative band in the top 7 and essentially making this a hip hop and country crossover fest is.....a choice. I hadn't planned on doing this fest unless the lineup wowed me. Needless to say, my plans have not changed. And looking at social media comments, I'm not alone. Wonderroad was VERY well received. This one? not at all. As someone who bought three day passes early for Wonderbus, I will be selling them and skipping the trip if the lineup looks like this. Really not sure what they're thinking with this one. |

Eerily quiet from them since the Wonderstruck drop. We were supposed to get the Pittsburgh lineup this week. Not sure what’s going on.

I'm getting worried as well. The Pittsburgh dates are in May...why did they announce the June and July lineups before WonderWorks? That festival will be over before anyone even makes an announcement. Meanwhile, they promised *all* lineups in February, so it looks like they have 2 days (not including the weekend) to announce 2 lineups. I swore off Wonderbus after last year, but they got me at Christmas with the great early bird pricing. With the Wonderstruck lineup and now no lineup announcement (or any engagement for that matter), it looks like I may regret that.

I didn't like the lineup to start with (not their fault) but then they had bands drop out that were replaced by bands I liked even less and I felt like they didn't really care? If that makes any sense. I also felt like it was overpriced, but they did change that as it got closer. I just felt like those things might be the harbinger of a poorly run festival in the future.
I hope I'm wrong.

Colony house was a disappoint when I heard it announced as a replacement but they were GREAT. |

Not sure if that’s even possible, with contracts. |

My guess is they are going to do similar to last year and have a week established veteran band on Friday night and either that band wants to Friday announcing for dune reason or one of the others on Sat or sun. Hopefully not but the only other thing I can think of is if they did have a cancellation and are scrambling to fill it. |

I think Beck is a possibility for Wonderbus. Has a week open and is in the area. Phoenix as well. Brandi Carlile and Pink too.

Seeing this, I don't feel like wonderbus will get anyone as big as Beck or Phoenix, which is a shame.

Yeah, more I look at this lineup, more I love. GREAT undercard. There has been a fair amount of overlap at Wonder festivals this year (Coin at all 3 lol) so I'm really hoping a few of these names carry over to Columbus. Especially Head and the Heart. Still somehow have not seen them yet, would love to cross them off my list of mid-tier alternative/indie bands lol |

Based on last year's lineup, they'd be second line, but who knows this year. Either way, solid booking. Miami hint makes me think Flo Rida. Especially with his appearance at Wonderstruck. |
